1964 Graduated from Anglican High School (GCE O)
1965 Started Karate-do Training in Singapore.
1967 Completed Farm Training from Farm School, Primary Production Department as Qualified Farming Teacher.
1968 Graduated from Teachers Training College as a Qualified Science Teacher.
1972 Obtained Shitoryu 1st Dan Black Belt, certified by Soke Ni-sai Kenzo Mabuni.
1973 Obtained Advanced Certification in Education(ACE) from Institute of Education.
1973 Representing Singapore in 1st Asian Pacific Karate-do Championship in Singapore.
1974 Obtained Shitoryu 2nd Dan Black Belt, certified by Soke Kenei Mabuni.
1975 Representing Singapore in 3rd World Karate-do Championships (WUKO), Los Angeles.
1976 Representing Singapore in 2nd Asian Pacific Karate-do Championship in Jakarta, Indonesia.
1977 Representing Singapore in 3rd Asian Pacific Karate-do Championship, Tokyo, Japan.
1978 Obtained 3rd Dan Black Belt in Shitoryu Karate-do, certified by Soke Kenei Mabuni.
      Representing Singapore in 1st Asian Shitoryu Karate-do Championship, Singapore.
1980 Representing Singapore in 2nd Asian Shitoryu Karate-do Championship in Jakarta, Indonesia.
      Obtained Gold Medal in Individual Open Male Kumite Event for Singapore.
1983 Obtained 4th Dan Black Belt in Shitoryu Karate-do, certified by Soke Kenei Mabuni.
1987 Participated in 1st Singapore Japan Goodwill Karate-do Championship, Singapore.
1988 Participated in 1st Selangor Open Karate-do Championships, Malaysia.
1989 Obtained 5th Dan Black Belt in Shitoryu Karate-do, certified by Soke Kenei Mabuni.
1991 Obtained APUKO Kata Judge Qualification, New Zealand.
1995 Obtained 6th Dan Black Belt in Shitoryu Karate-do, certified by Soke Kenei Mabuni.
1997 Founded Ken Shin Kai Karate Club in Singapore to promote Sports Karate-do.
1999 Obtained 7th Dan Black Belt in Shitoryu Karate-do, certified by Soke Kenei Mabuni.
      Organised Pesta Sukan Karate-do Championship 1999 in Singapore.
      Member of Organising Committee of 4th Asia Karate-do Championships.
      Elected as Hon. Secretary of Singapore Karate-do Federation.
2000 Obtained WKF 6th Dan Qualification, certified by World Karate-do Federation.
      Team Manager of Singapore Team in 5th AKF Junior Championships, Macao.
2001 Obtained AKF Kumite Judge B Qualification, certified by Asian Karate-do Federation.
      Team Manager of Singapore National Team in XXI Sea Games.
2002 Team Manager of Singapore Team to Penang Open Invitation Tournament.
2004 Organised and conducted National Accreditation Course for Karate-do Coaches in partnership
        with Singapore Sports Council.
      Introduced the first badge of NCAP Technical Certificates to karateka in Singapore under the partnership
        with Singapore Sports Council.
2005 Team Manger of 23rd Sea Games in Cebu Philippines for Singapore Karate-do Team.
      The team achieved two bronze medals for Singapore.
      Obtained Master Coach status from National Registry of Coaching, Singapore Sports Council.
2006 Team Manager for Singapore Team to Pra Sukma Karate-do Championship, Malaysia.
      Organising Secretary of 8th AKF Junior and Cadet Championships.
      Organised WKF-SKF Technical Seminar 2006 in Singapore, in partnership with World Karate-do Federation.
      Obtained WKF 7 Dan Qualification, certified by World Karate-do Federation.
      Enrolled in Sport Science Degree Course, Edith Cowan University, Australia.
2007 Attending Sport Science Degree Course, Edith Cowan University, Australia.
      Conducted Sai Weapon Workshop, jointly organized with Chia Partners and Zen Shin Ren Karate Association.
      Assisted in organizing Ken Shin Kai 10th Anniversary Dinner function.
      Obtained Sports Trainer qualification, certified by Sports Medicine Australia.
      Obtained Sports First-aider qualification, certified by Sports Medicine Australia.
2008 Certified Tchoukball Coach, certified by International Tchoukball Federation.
      Coached member Miss Esther Tan to obtained Gold Medal in Kata competition
          in 7 Nations Sports Master Karate-do Championships in Malaysia.

      Continuing promoting Shito-style of karate-do movement in Singapore.
